Financial Modelling Mastery Program

We've worked with over 300 finance professionals since 2019, and one thing stands out. Most people struggle not because they lack intelligence, but because financial modelling courses teach formulas without context. Our approach is different.

Find Your Starting Point

Not everyone needs the same thing. Some folks are comfortable with Excel but lost when building DCF models. Others can read balance sheets but freeze when asked to forecast cash flow. Let's work out where you fit.

What Makes This Program Actually Work

We've been teaching financial modelling in Melbourne since 2019. And honestly, we've made plenty of mistakes along the way. But those mistakes taught us what actually helps people learn complex finance concepts.

  • Real Company Models

No fake companies or simplified examples. You'll work with actual ASX-listed firms, downloading real annual reports, and building models that mirror what analysts create daily. It's messier than textbook examples, which is the point.

  • Small Group Sessions

Maximum eight participants per cohort. Larger classes sound impressive but you end up watching someone else's screen for two hours. We keep groups tight so everyone gets hands-on practice and direct feedback.

  • Industry Practitioner Teaching

Our lead instructor spent eleven years in investment banking before shifting to education. He's built models for billion-dollar deals and knows which shortcuts professionals actually use versus what textbooks recommend.

  • Flexible Learning Format

Classes run twice weekly over twelve weeks. Can't make a session? All workshops are recorded and available within 24 hours. Life happens, especially in 2025, so we've designed around that reality.

  • Post-Program Support

Three months of email support after completion. Questions come up when you're applying skills at work, not just during class. We stick around when you actually need help.

What Past Participants Say

We ask everyone for honest feedback after completing the program. Some of it's critical, which helps us improve. Here's what stood out from our February 2025 cohort.

Coming from accounting, I thought I'd find the valuation modules complicated. But the instructors break down concepts into manageable pieces. I'm now building three-statement models for my manager without second-guessing every formula.

The small class size made such a difference. I could ask stupid questions without feeling embarrassed. The instructor noticed when I was struggling with WACC calculations and spent extra time walking me through it during the break.

Best investment in my career development. I interviewed for three banking roles after finishing the program, and having that modelling confidence made such a difference. Not saying the course got me the job, but it definitely helped me not freeze during technical questions.

I appreciated that the instructor admitted when something was beyond the scope or when there wasn't a clear answer. Finance education often feels too polished. This felt real, which built my confidence more than perfect theoretical explanations would have.
